Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un

Our dear brother Ustadh Naim (RA) was a teacher in Abu Dhabi, as well as a backing vocalist and talented darbuka percussionist who performed and toured with Aashiq Al Rasul on numerous occasions.

More than a fellow performer, he was a much-loved brother and friend whose presence, warmth and contribution remain part of the Aashiq Al Rasul story.

We remember him with love and gratitude and pray that Allah ﷻ showers him with His mercy, forgiveness and light, and reunites us in the Akhirah amongst those who gather in love and praise of Him and His Beloved Messenger ﷺ.

Please join us in making du'a for him:

O Allah, forgive and have mercy upon our brother Naim. Pardon him, honour his reception, make his resting place spacious and admit him into the Garden. Protect him from the trials of the grave and the punishment of the Fire.

O Allah, keep him in Your care and mercy, forgive him and raise his rank amongst the righteous.
